Cell Group Meetings

A HTC cell-group is a small group that has a strong bond of fellowship among its members. The group consists of four to sixteen people who meet regularly every week or every fortnight. The meetings usually start with a praise and worship session, followed by a teaching and sharing session. However, this may vary on the discretion of the cell group members. Enthusiasm for evangelization, ministry, as well as in discipleship is a part of the cell-group life. As we grow in faith and love of God, we always long to place Him as the core of our lives.
This is a place for us to pray for each other, to learn, understand and deeply experience God’s love, the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as to receive His guidance in our daily life. Through praise and worship, sharing and teaching activities, we deepen our faith and love in Christ. We learn to know Jesus in a deeper way, learn how to serve God and His people in the right and effective way. The fellowship that flourish as a result of the gathering is something that we particularly cherish, especially for most of us who are migrants and international students, away from family and relatives.
Monthly Gathering
Each area normally has a regular monthly or bimonthly gathering for the cell groups in it. The gathering activities may vary to Prayer Group meetings, Adorations, social charity activities, outing activities, BBQ/ picnic activities, etc.

Annual Renewal Life in the Spirit Seminar

Every year HTC organises a Renewal Life in the Holy Spirit Seminar which is designed as an introduction to a life lived in the power of the Holy Spirit. It provides an opportunity for people to find out more about it and to be guided in taking the first steps of a new relationship with the Lord. The seminar is usually held at least once a year around March/April, or September/October.
Annual Retreats
Along with the seminar, HTC also offers a retreat of various themes surrounding our faith. We are blessed to have representatives from the communities of Sisters and Fraters of the same spirituality as ours, the Daughters of Carmel and the Carmelite Sancti Eliae orders, visiting us annually from Indonesia to guide us during the retreat. The Annual Retreat is usually held once a year around April or September.
