Young Adult

“For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
(Romans 12: 4-5)

Members of young adult cell groups are spread through the Eastern, South-eastern, Inner City and Western suburbs. Two age groups are included 26-35 y.o. (young adults) and 36-56 y.o. (middle-aged adults). Members are mostly professionals and housewives. Some of them are single, married and raising young families. Some cell groups hold their meetings weekly, while the others are fortnightly. The social activities range from family gatherings, picnics, and road trips. As there are many young children in this group, they often organize childcare in the meetings.

To live as Christ disciples, HTC chooses a Community Cells system. A cell group is a small group consisting of four to fourteen members which has a strong bond of fellowship among our members. We always multiply and the members are encouraged to evangelize, serve together in ministries and learn discipleships. Within our own group, we learn to grow and to flourish in faith and love and to make Jesus the center of their lives.

Through cell groups, each member is aided to grow in the knowledge of God and to love as one family. It is indeed a great joy when stories about the goodness of God are shared, or when members are strengthened by the testimony of other cell group members. Talents and potentials can be developed through mutual cell group ministries and activities, so that new generations of leaders are honed and shaped to serve the Church and the community.
