Members of this group aged 35-55 y.o. (middle-aged adults) and over 55 y.o. (older adults). Cell group meetings are usually held fortnightly. The members consist of professionals, entrepreneurs, housewives, and retirees who live in the South-eastern suburbs. Other than picnics, BBQs and family gatherings, this group often visits the elderly in Aged Care.
To live as Christ disciples, HTC chooses a Community Cells system. A cell group is a small group consisting of four to fourteen members which has a strong bond of fellowship among our members. We always multiply and the members are encouraged to evangelize, serve together in ministries and learn discipleships. Within our own group, we learn to grow and to flourish in faith and love and to make Jesus the center of their lives.
Through cell groups, each member is aided to grow in the knowledge of God and to love as one family. It is indeed a great joy when stories about the goodness of God are shared, or when members are strengthened by the testimony of other cell group members. Talents and potentials can be developed through mutual cell group ministries and activities, so that new generations of leaders are honed and shaped to serve the Church and the community.
